Maifan stone is a composite mineral or medicinal rock that is non-clogging and harmless to organisms, possessing certain biological activities. It contains essential macroelements such as potassium, sodium, calcium, and magnesium, as well as 18 trace elements including zinc, iron, selenium, copper, strontium, iodine, and metasilicic acid. 1. Strong Adsorption: Maifan Stone Ceramsite is highly porous and has strong adsorption capabilities. Electron microscope images of Maifan stone fine powder confirm its sponge-like porous structure, meaning it consistently maintains strong adsorption and exchange effects due to its porosity.
2. Mineral Dissolution: When Maifan Stone Ceramsite is placed in water, it adsorbs and decomposes free chlorine, impurities, organic matter, and bacteria, while releasing minerals into the water. This prevents water spoilage and results in high-quality water. Bacteriostatic State: The activity of bacteria is inhibited, keeping them in a dormant state. The bacteriostatic effect halts the proliferation of bacteria.
3. Water Adjustment and Purification: For minerals like iron and magnesium, if they are absent in water, Maifan Stone Ceramsite releases them. Conversely, if they are excessive, it adsorbs them. This effect is pH-dependent. Except for highly acidic or alkaline water, adding Maifan Stone Ceramsite to purified water can neutralize it—typically by direct addition in alkaline conditions and by circulation in acidic conditions. Even with large volumes of water, circulating it through a Maifan stone layer several times can adjust the pH.

Through special processing and high-temperature firing, antibacterial metal ions such as silver and zinc are uniformly distributed in a stable form within the ceramic balls. This enables broad-spectrum elimination and removal of various bacteria, with an antibacterial rate of over 90% against E. coli and Staphylococcus aureus. Its sterilization and antibacterial effects are long-lasting, harmless to humans, and it is a safe, non-clogging product.
